Environmental Evils –

Environmental evils abound nationally and locally.

From BP’s blown well destroying the Gulf of Mexico to Indian casinos threatening the future integrity of the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve, our collective environment is under siege.

Locally, in the Bioreserve, views to the north, from Watuppa Pond and points south, are ruined by the gigantic mountain of trash at the Allied Waste dump.

Will other Bioreserve viewsheds soon by marred by high-rise casino buildings, energy tower pylons, more suburban sprawl?

When will we realize that if environment comes first, instead of last, quality of life improves and communities prosper.

We are so busy working on serious environmental issues, that this is the extent of this month’s newsletter.
